I was lying all bruised and hammered, as the world surrounding me laughed
A bright light of God from high above looked at me and said, “It is a conventional ugly craft”
An angel from the heavens flew down and sat beside my debris
Her tears fell and within me was a sudden impulsive spree
She whispered in my ears, “The battle is far from over”
“It was only a regular exercise to end your ugly rover”
“You lost this game because the almighty no more wanted you to be a part of the clueless nomad cattle”
This is what you call, the blessing of a lost battle
“Every droplet of blood that flows will make you strong from within”
“So that the next time when you fight with your opponents, you can actually drill their chin”
In life, you cross hurdles and break stones all to make you tough
And hence you are well prepared to face the ugly bluff
Never be shy of loosing, as it opens the door to winning
Without a loss, your life is like a ball with constant spinning
Thou almighty, thank you from keeping me at bay from the modern tattle
And bestowing me with the blessing of this lost battle

Throat-ical bridge to success
I and success stand parallel in your way
Cut my throat and pave your way
You have no option but to rip me apart
Else this world would call you, “no more smart”
There used to be a time when you couldn’t see me in any stress
But now we stand against each other and show our talent to suppress
Winning more candies from the teacher than I did, is no more your aim
Pushing me back to the wall is your new emulous game
My friend, make a camouflage and test your dart
Because I might hit back and show my art
As
I and success stand parallel in your way
Cut my throat and pave your way
You and I suffer from the syndrome of rival
Pinning each other for the fight of survival
There is one product and many takers
Come on and challenge the conventional law makers
This pursuit has made us hollow from within
As we are happy flaunting our virtual grin
There is no point running away from the innocence of reality
As we all are in need of only a meager dose of practicality
Note: This is my attempt to show the hind side of this competitive world
Cut my throat and pave your way
You have no option but to rip me apart

Mask Distraction
I stand in front of this reflecting glass and ask myself
“Which mask to wear out of the brimming shelf?”
My mind darts and frisks the occasion
And then settles down for the one that suits my equation
One for my friend, one for my love, one for my enemy and one for my boss
I just need to push the peddle and dive in for the game of gain and loss
Day in and day out, this practice has made me more and more inhuman
But my practical soul cries, “Dude, it’s more and more being superhuman”
When this masked man can receive all the applause and adulation
Why to unmask and live in a life that is full of dissipation
But sadly, amidst the glitz and glamor
I have forgotten my soul’s honest grammar
My heart no longer beats for the one who is unpretentious
But rather it shows an inclination for the contentious
A transition from my real self to the imaginary
Means running away from my real life which now suddenly seems more beneficiary
Help me…help me, as I am in need to get rid of this feigned mask
But I know it’s not easy, but an arduous task
“GET WELL SOON” is the slogan of the hour
A reality check may take us back to “sweet from sour”

CWG manifesto
Here they are; the games to thunder
But people believe it’s a means to blunder
The pride is at stake that no one cares
It’s only the criticism that everyone dares
“corruption…corruption” is the hue and cry
The feeling of nationalism is far and dry
The shera sits at a corner and sobs
While the stage demands mirth on zestful throbs
The guilty needs punishment moreover
But the time demands us to wait till the party gets over
I understand the pain and suffering of the common man
But time to keep mum and clap for how the athletes ran
“GO DELHI…GO INDIA” should be the slogan of the hour
The agitation within us needs itself to be no more sour
Hope my words spread far and wide
As the stage is ready to welcome the bride
Supporting the games should be the nation’s notion
As every Indian waits for the blissful emotion
JAI HIND.!!

Prominence of Amity
The difference between man and beast is null
When the prominence of amity in life becomes lull
Today as I imbibe this igneous beverage on this drizzly day
I recall all those days of being blissful and gay
The pizza never tasted sapid
Without your pal’s chatter being rapid
The classrooms always felt unattended
Without the latest slang being trended
The feministic gait looked pathetically poignant
Without oodles of eyebrows being stagnant
The celebrations always appeared dismal
Without someone who could make it abysmal
And this adds fuel to fire that
The difference between man and beast is null
When the prominence of amity in life becomes lull
I have always been embroiled between the impalpable strife of love and solidarity
But the tougher times always gave its clarity
I was down and out crying in agony and pain
When my pals came and salvaged my game
I soon figured out that no pesos can buy benevolence
And someone’s veracious rapport always has a non-monetary prevalence
I was never the same and never would be
With the probability of my unfeigned friends only being “could be”
I will clamor and bawl that
The difference between man and beast is null
When the prominence of amity in life becomes lull
Some day this very campus would be echoing with our sounds of cackles
While gross of us would be tied up in materialistic shackles
I need u guys; I need u all my life no matter where I am
And the hope is that you won’t ever count me as a spam
I rest my envision as I take the last supper
But that does not stop my apprehensive scupper

Erudition: A contemporary panache
“Every person in this world is diverse”, was a childhood cliché
Contemporary education makes this phrase a mournful croquet
Being an astronaut was my infanthood dream
But I grew up and found management as the most ambrosial cream
I was astonished to see my friends found it as tasty as me
Everyone wants to savour it and flee
Yes mom I am now a part of this brand game
Because I can’t stand behind and blister in flame
I want to win this dizzy round at any cost
Or this world will treat me as a redundant frost
Being a “slave driver” is the new sprightly vogue
But Tom, Dick and Harry are happy being an eminent rogue
And yet I heard
“Every person in this world is diverse” as a childhood cliché
Contemporary education makes this phrase a mournful croquet
While I am busy administrating myself on facebook
The new bandwagon demands me to be a sharp crochet hook
The definition of contentment has changed from bliss to coinage
And that has made me regret, why I wasn’t born in the perky old age
I heard people have their own idiosyncrasy
But to my precipitance I found education makes them have a similar level of supremacy
“Every person in this world is diverse”, has become a childhood cliché
As Contemporary education makes this phrase a mournful croquet
Today this atrocious pursuit gives me more happiness than my favourite candy floss
And my entire ardor is on becoming some company’s crowned boss
Somebody come to my rescue as I drown in the ocean
Though I know there is no place to show my emotion
I would be an award winning movie if I say, “live your dreams”
But fervently we all need such inner screams
*Poet’s corner: This time I can say a lot of you can relate to the above piece of crap
