Kampus Konnect

It’s a call for me from God’s own Kampus
As the world is busy crying, “It’s a passport for being pompous”

Well all I’d say is that the life is about to take a new turn
And that’s going to end my long time heavens yearn

Opportunities galore but the task remains one
As I get ready to fire with my Gatling gun

The paradise is not a zone of grilling, as claimed by some
It is just that the refinement to gold is not always a plum

New faces on newer species await the odyssey
As most are ready to shift the long time geodesy

The kampus Konnect is all set to mix the different varieties of an Indian bean
And to formulate a new mass calling it as “PGP 15”

Let’s make a plea and join hands
To form one unprecedented batch to make amends

The digressed Youth

Just thought of having some scribbling exercise after a band-aid and no its not a balladry as one expects from me but it’s just a reality check for the Gen-X which forms the major chunk of a country. I am myself a part of it so the kinship is obvious. I sometimes wonder, what is the outlook of a youngster? Is it about having Kingfisher in one hand and Gold-Flake in the other or is it about having opportunities in one hand and their re-percussive results in the other? The primer defines the real and the latter defines the ideal.

Take a look at this scenario:

Guy1: The new Megan Fox calendar is out, I read in TOI.

Guy2: Did you read the latest in 2G Scam? That framed the headline in TOI today.

Guy1: Dude, I don’t know much but it seems Megan Fox is definitely sexier than the 2G scam.

Common scenario, huh? Over the years I have figured out that it is the Tequila shots that define puberty rather than sense, strange but true. If you don’t booze and fag at 20, you are supposed to be malnourished and there are still some nerves in you which are not aligned in their place. Speedy cars with loud music: forming some reminiscence? Well you are indifferent and so am I.

The sad part is that I am also a member of the same nomad crowd, vision less and digressed; but who is to be blamed, “me” or “we”? I suppose a mixture of both. But amidst the crowd, there are a few whose LED s grow brighter than the others and who initiate a change, they foresee something bright and frame their path.

“Political leaders are good for nothing” is a common statement used by the young breed, but who is to lay the plans to change it? Who is to form the India of tomorrow? Who is to make India a superpower? Well the answer is certainly not written as a statutory warning on a beer bottle, neither is it inscribed on a cigarette pack. Open the cerebral lid and think beyond, India needs you.

Waiting for all the dislikes…common.!

The blessing of a lost battle

I was lying all bruised and hammered, as the world surrounding me laughed
A bright light of God from high above looked at me and said, “It is a conventional ugly craft”

An angel from the heavens flew down and sat beside my debris
Her tears fell and within me was a sudden impulsive spree

She whispered in my ears, “The battle is far from over”
“It was only a regular exercise to end your ugly rover”

“You lost this game because the almighty no more wanted you to be a part of the clueless nomad cattle”
This is what you call, the blessing of a lost battle

“Every droplet of blood that flows will make you strong from within”
“So that the next time when you fight with your opponents, you can actually drill their chin”

In life, you cross hurdles and break stones all to make you tough
And hence you are well prepared to face the ugly bluff

Never be shy of loosing, as it opens the door to winning
Without a loss, your life is like a ball with constant spinning

Thou almighty, thank you from keeping me at bay from the modern tattle
And bestowing me with the blessing of this lost battle

Throat-ical bridge to success

I and success stand parallel in your way
Cut my throat and pave your way

You have no option but to rip me apart
Else this world would call you, “no more smart”

There used to be a time when you couldn’t see me in any stress
But now we stand against each other and show our talent to suppress

Winning more candies from the teacher than I did, is no more your aim
Pushing me back to the wall is your new emulous game

My friend, make a camouflage and test your dart
Because I might hit back and show my art

As
I and success stand parallel in your way
Cut my throat and pave your way

You and I suffer from the syndrome of rival
Pinning each other for the fight of survival

There is one product and many takers
Come on and challenge the conventional law makers

This pursuit has made us hollow from within
As we are happy flaunting our virtual grin

There is no point running away from the innocence of reality
As we all are in need of only a meager dose of practicality

Note: This is my attempt to show the hind side of this competitive world

Mask Distraction

I stand in front of this reflecting glass and ask myself
“Which mask to wear out of the brimming shelf?”

My mind darts and frisks the occasion
And then settles down for the one that suits my equation

One for my friend, one for my love, one for my enemy and one for my boss
I just need to push the peddle and dive in for the game of gain and loss

Day in and day out, this practice has made me more and more inhuman
But my practical soul cries, “Dude, it’s more and more being superhuman”

When this masked man can receive all the applause and adulation
Why to unmask and live in a life that is full of dissipation

But sadly, amidst the glitz and glamor
I have forgotten my soul’s honest grammar

My heart no longer beats for the one who is unpretentious
But rather it shows an inclination for the contentious

A transition from my real self to the imaginary
Means running away from my real life which now suddenly seems more beneficiary

Help me…help me, as I am in need to get rid of this feigned mask
But I know it’s not easy, but an arduous task

“GET WELL SOON” is the slogan of the hour
A reality check may take us back to “sweet from sour”

CWG manifesto

Here they are; the games to thunder
But people believe it’s a means to blunder

The pride is at stake that no one cares
It’s only the criticism that everyone dares

“corruption…corruption” is the hue and cry
The feeling of nationalism is far and dry

The shera sits at a corner and sobs
While the stage demands mirth on zestful throbs

The guilty needs punishment moreover
But the time demands us to wait till the party gets over

I understand the pain and suffering of the common man
But time to keep mum and clap for how the athletes ran

“GO DELHI…GO INDIA” should be the slogan of the hour
The agitation within us needs itself to be no more sour

Hope my words spread far and wide
As the stage is ready to welcome the bride

Supporting the games should be the nation’s notion
As every Indian waits for the blissful emotion

JAI HIND.!!
